In case you don't know, my name is Genie Este, and I write - among other things - fanfiction. I've been in the Stargate fandom for going on seven years now, and the obsession shows no sign of abating anytime soon. Although I imagine I'll branch out to writing in other fandoms any day now.
Speaking of other fandoms, I enjoy many. The notable ones are Farscape, The West Wing, Studio 60, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, M*A*S*H, The X-Files, JAG, and most recently, Jericho. Although these always revolve, so who knows what you'll see here next.
As for my real life, I currently work for a local health department in health education and emergency preparedness and response (and I hope to continue to work in this field in the future). I also recently reached the end of my term as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Other than that, my real life is pretty boring to everyone but me.
